Prenatal Breast/Chestfeeding Counseling

Are you expecting and have some questions or concerns? Wondering if your concerns could cause issues? In Prenatal Counseling, we will spend 45-60 minutes talking about your concerns and addressing them.  You will be equipped with the knowledge to know when things are ok and when you may need a little more support.  You will leave feeling prepared for your journey and with resources to help you with any issues that may arise.

Postpartum Breast/Chestfeeding Counseling

Are you having nipple or breast pain? Have you been told you need to supplement your baby for any reason? Has your baby lost more than 10% of their birth weight or isn't back to birth weight by day 10? Is everyone giving you different information, rules, or instructions?

The #1 reason many decide to stop breastfeeding is that they think they do not have enough milk. Most can make plenty of milk with good breastfeeding management or the right interventions.

PUMP & BACK TO WORK CONSULTATION

Pump Consultation
Going back to work?  Have you been pumping for a while, and now your pump doesn't seem to perform as it used to? We’ll talk about the replaceable parts on your pump and troubleshoot concerns. We will also check the flanges to be sure you have the proper size for your body. When we’re all done, you’ll know all you need to about your pump.
A typical Pump Consultation takes 45 minutes to 1 hour, and it will take place in the comfort of your own home.

Back to Work Consultation
Is breast/chestfeeding going well, and now you have to go back to work?  Pumping, milk storage, and choosing bottles for your baby. Overwhelming!  Let's make the process less confusing.  We will chat about your pump and make sure it is right for you. We can go over milk storage guidelines and figure out a plan for storing your milk for your baby, and we’ll talk about good bottle feeding techniques and how to help educate those who will be caring for and feeding your baby.  
This visit lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour and takes place in your home.
