"An equitable society is one where everyone’s voice matters, and everyone’s needs are valued."

The services offered at Rooted In Birth must be accessible to anyone who desires them, and for some time now we have kept our fees lower to keep things affordable for more people. It is very important that people can afford our services, and it is also important to value our work and experience at Rooted In Birth.

No matter what your personal financial experience or which tier you pay, you will still receive the same quality and quantity of care.

Our Suggested Tiers:

When you pay first tier... know that your payment is matching the value of the services you’re receiving and you’re helping others access the same services who may not have been able to otherwise.

When you pay in the middle... know that your payment is helping your doula cover costs and sustain a life dedicated to this work for you and others.

When you pay on the third tier... know that your payment and our agreement are a way that we support each other and share our gifts, passions, and missions!

Each of the above is a wonderful and acceptable display of community in business! We’ve personally been on different parts of the scale at different points in life. Feel totally comfortable choosing what feels right for you. Sliding scales are about trust; they are about economic justice; they are about acknowledging that people are more than their financial reality and that we don't need to be ashamed to talk about money.

Rooted In Birth has and will always offer payment plans as well, usually 50% upon hire and the balance due at 36 weeks, but will work with all clients to ensure that finances are not an obstacle to receiving the support you need for your pregnancy and birth.
